This course is designed for individuals involved in the operation, supervision, or maintenance of overhead cranes and gantry cranes. It is suitable for novice operators, experienced personnel seeking certification or refresher training, maintenance staff, safety officers, and workers operating in crane environments.

What does this course cover?
This course equips delegates with the essential knowledge and skills to inspect and operate overhead gantry cranes using a handheld remote pendant. It includes key aspects such as maintenance procedures, pre-operation inspections, and operational techniques. Upon successful completion, learners will be able to safely operate the crane, manage potential hazards, and perform lifting and lowering tasks, including securing loads with different slinging methods.
This course covers requirements of OSHA 29 cFr 1910, ASME B30.2

To complete the Overhead Crane Operator training, the learner will need to attend the 1 day training course physical.
How is the course assessed?
Learners will be assessed against the outcomes specified in accordance with the required standard.
